Tanzanian President, Hajiya Samia Suluhu Hassan, has ordered that all Tanzanian pot-bellied immigration officers should undergo fresh training immediately.
The president made the order during a passing-out parade for new officers.
According to sources, during the POP event, she noticed pot bellies on some experienced officers.
Some of the officers were looking like 9 months pregnant women. This made the president to order for a fresh training for them.
The president reportedly said,
“the officers should return to training to remove the pot bellies, to become more agile in executing their roles”
The order has attracted different reactions from Tanzanians.
Last year, President Samia Suluhu Hassan, was heavily criticized by social media users when she described Tanzania female footballers as “flat-chested” and “unattractive” to marry.
The President claimed some of the Tanzanian female players could be mistaken for men.
