Will the ASUU strike deadlock be broken?

The ASUU striking lecturers met with the Professor Nimi Briggs Committee today at the National University Commission in Abuja with high hopes of resolving the impasse.

A senior member of ASUU told Channels Television that the Briggs committee did not come up with any new offer to resolve the ASUU strike

Instead, the ASUU source said, the committee pleaded with the lecturers to suspend the ongoing strike, with promises that their concerns will be included in the 2023 budget.

According to the source, the meeting, which started at about noon, lasted for about three hours without any agreement being reached.
Is this the end for Nigerian students?

Do we wait till 2023 before this will be resolved?
Do Nigerian students need to turn to prayers in other to break this gridlock?
We pray the FG and ASUU reach an agreement so university students can return to school very soon.
