Popular Nigerian Area Fada, Charly Boy has come under heat as Nigerians criticize his recent comments on the ongoing crisis in France.

Charly Boy had compared Nigeria with other war zone countries of the world including Afghanistan and Syria while using the level of damage done in France as an example for Nigerian youths to emulate.

The Area Fada in his comment, recommends such mayhem as a means to reject a failed government.

While sharing a video of a French city in flames, he wrote;

“This isn’t Syria, Iraq or Afghanistan. This is France where 9% of the population has brought down entire cities! Karma from Africa? Am waiting on the exceptional Nigerian Youths to reject a system that let dem down. Una destiny dey una hand.”

Reacting, a tweep wrote; “U can’t wish this on our Country”

Another says, “Let your sons and daughters be at the front.”

The France Crisis

Nearly a week, there has been in some cities in France following the shooting and killing of a teenager by a police officer in Nanterre, a western Paris suburb.

According to reports, 17-year-old driver, identified only as Nahel M., was pulled over by two policemen on Tuesday for breaking traffic rules.

Police initially reported that one officer shot at the teenager because he was driving his car at him, but this version of events was contradicted by a video circulating on social media and authenticated by AFP, according to France24.

The footage shows the two policemen standing by the side of the stationary car, with one pointing a weapon at the driver. A voice is heard saying: “You are going to get a bullet in the head.”

The police officer appears to fire at the driver at point-blank range as the car abruptly drives off, advancing a few dozen metres before crashing.

The driver died shortly thereafter.

The 38-year-old policeman seen firing the lethal shot was taken into custody and is now under investigation for voluntary manslaughter.
