Why is ‘Davido’s son’ trending on Twitter?
November is starting on a dark note for Nigerian singer Davido and his fiance, Chioma Rowland who have lost their son – Ifeanyi Adeleke, a 3 year old.
The news of the death of the singers’ son who just turned three on October 20th has left some of his fans in mourning.
Ifeanyi was said to have drowned in a swimming pool at the singer’s residence in the Banana Island area of Lagos State.
However, while Chioma and Davido are yet to issue a statement concerning the alleged death, their friends have since been hinting it could be true judging from the messages they’ve been sending the couple.
Some Twitter users have also been expressing their condolences while others hang on to hope that the news is false.
Singer Paul Play Dairo said, “I’m really lost for words. This is really painful. Take heart, David.”
Actor Williams Uchemba wrote on Instagram, “I said I won’t believe anything on social media until I personally confirm myself. I prayed for it to be a lie. I am upset, pained and confused. Nobody deserves to feel this pain.
“Please say a prayer for David, Chioma and the entire family. Nobody deserves this kind of pain. Rest up little one.”
