Former President of the Nigerian Senate, David Mark has lost his first son, Tunde Mark.

Tunde died in the early hours of Friday in London, the United Kingdom.

While the situation surrounding his death is still sketchy, Radiojagaban gathered that Tunde died at the age of 51 after suffering from cancer.

It is learnt that the corpse is expected to be flown to Nigeria in the coming days.

Tunde was an alumnus of Yaba Military School where he obtained his first school leaving certificate.

He also studied at the Bradfield College, Berkshire, UK, for his Secondary school education.

According to a statement by the Special Adviser to David Mark, Mr. Paul Mumeh, Tunde who was born on October 13, 1971, was a Biochemist, obtained B.Sc degree from Kings College, London.

He also studied immunology alongside biochemistry and later Biological Sciences in the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, Harvard, Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The statement also said that Tunde was married with a daughter and his funeral arrangements would be communicated in due course.
