World most used Social media platforms, Instagram and Twitter, have restricted the accounts of popular American rapper, Kanye West otherwise known as Ye for sharing anti-Semitic posts.

Instagram was the first to take actions against West on Friday after the rapper’s controversial appearance at the Yeezy fashion show in Paris with popular conservative media personality, Candace Owens.

On the runway, the duo donned on a shirt with the words, “WHITE LIVES MATTER” inscribed on it.

This drew criticism from many including hip-hop artiste, Sean Combs, popularly known as Puff Daddy who advised the rapper against hurting the Black community with his public statements.

In response, Kanye West said that he would use Combs as “an example to show the Jewish people that told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me. I told you this is war. Now gone get you some business.”

Following the restrictions placed on his account on Instagram, Ye moved on to twitter to make a post which also eventually led to Twitter’s deletion of the post and restriction of his account. He wrote:

“I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE,”.

“The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also you guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.”

According to a Meta spokesperson, Instagram deleted content from the rapper’s Instagram page and placed a restriction on the account for violating its rules and guidelines. A Twitter spokesperson said likewise.
