Management of the Benue State University, Makurdi (BSUM), has announced a resumption date for its members of staff.
In a communiqué signed by the school’s registrar, Dr. Mrs Mfaga Modom, all staff members of the University are to resume on Wednesday, 28th September, 2022.
According to the statement, a “date for all categories of students” will be announced in due course.
This however suggests that students would eventually resume in batches as the university is set to commence all activities in Ernest.
Benue State University among other Nigerian Universities had suspended all academic activities due to the seven months old ASUU strike which took effect from February 14th 2022.
