Governor Soludo bans miniskirts in Anambra schools

The Anambra state government has baned the use of miniskirts in Anambra schools.

The State’s commissioner for Education, Professor Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, made the announcement, Sunday in Awka, the state’s capital.

Professor Chuma-Udeh, who said the ban became necessary following schools’ resumption on Monday, 19th September, 2022, stated that the ban had been communicated to Education Secretaries of both public and private schools in the state.

“The acceptable length for uniforms in the state remains knee length and not above the knee, which is fast becoming the fashion trend in schools,’’ she added.

Explaining why Education Secretaries had been changed, Professor Chuma said the change was to ensure that schools complied with the directive.
