Ehi was the most beautiful girl in her department, at Benue State University, Makurdi.
she always boasted about how rich and caring her boyfriend was.
She would insult and talk down on other male coursemates, Calling them Low-lives.
On her birthday, she invited all her
friends including her boyfriend who happened to be the
special guest of honor.
Most people brought their gifts and those who couldn’t afford gifts also came along just to enjoy the free food and drinks.
Everybody was eager to see this boy Ehi had talked so much about, and what he was going to get for her.
Ehi also anticipated the Amazing gift her boyfriend had promised her and planned how she was going to show it off.
The guy finally showed up minutes later, he pulled up in a black coloured Toyota Corolla. And was neatly dressed, he looked very handsome and gentle.
Ehi was very happy at the arrival of her
boyfriend and was ready to see the gift he brought for
her.
The boy just opened the poly bag in front of
all the guests and invitees.
And he brought out a loaf of bread.
And said to the girl…” take this bread, that’s
what I brought for you as your birthday gift”
Ehi got angry immediately and was highly
disappointed in her boyfriend.
She grabbed the bread and threw it away in
anger.
The boyfriend also got disappointed
and he rushed and pick up the bread.
He opened the bread in front of Ehi,
And behold! 😲there was a car key and an engagement ring
inside the bread. When the girl noticed that…She began
to beg, and Cry but then, it was too late for her, her boyfriend drove off in the brand new Toyota Corolla he bought for her.
Moral: Pride goes before a fall
