Kaduna Prophet impregnate sisters

A Magistrates Court sitting in Kafanchan, Kaduna State has ordered a self-acclaimed prophet to be remanded in prison until next month for impregnating his two sisters.

The accused, Prophet Enoch Sule, who is the General Overseer of Prayer Tabernacle Ministry, Kamurum Bajju was arrested and arraigned before the court by Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

NSCDC prosecutor, Mr Marcus Audu, told the court that, Prophet Sule asked his older sister, who is19 years old, to accompany him to the mountain for prayer and fasting.

The prosecutor further told the court that when they got to the mountain, Prophet Sule instructed the girl to remove her cloth and pray naked as directed by the Holy Spirit.

As she removed her clothes,  the accused forcefully had carnal knowledge of her, which has resulted in pregnancy.

A month later, Sule told the younger one who is 17 years old to go with him to the same mountain for prayer and fasting which she obeyed.

Prophet Sule repeated the same thing he did to the older sister, and she also got pregnant, the prosecutor told the court.

Audu said, the offence committed by the prophet is contrary to section 258 of the Kaduna State Penal Code Law.

Ruling, the presiding judge, Samson Kwasu, did not take the plea of the accused person for lack of jurisdiction to hear the matter.

He, however, directed the prosecutor to forward the case files to the State Director of Public Prosecution for legal advice.

The judge therefore, adjourned the case until September 8, 2022, for further mention.
