Students of the Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete are currently discussing the death of two students of the university who have been found death in a hotel.
The two students, Mr. Tobiloba Daniel, and his lover, Miss Arewa Abayomi, were found dead in Daniel’s hostel room outside the school campus.
The duo, until their death were both in 200-level and were said to be writing the ongoing examinations when the incident occurred.
Mr. Daniel and Miss Abayomi were not seen coming to write their examination and nobody saw them for three days.
Worried by their absence, some of their friends got to their hostel room outside the school only to find both of them naked and death.
It’s been suspected that the two might have died of s*x after using enhanced drugs or of food poisoning.
The university’s spokesperson, Hajia Saeedat Aliyu, said there was no official communication on the matter.
However, the police spokesman in the state, SP Ajayi Okasanmi, has confirmed the incident.
The PPRO said:
“The information is that the two of them were found dead inside their room and the police were alerted”
“Our officers pulled down the door and they were taken to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) for an autopsy. Investigation into the matter is ongoing”
Lately, cases of tertiary institutions’ students in Nigeria having excess s*x to death have become rife.
On Tuesday 17th May, 2022, Mr. Igunu Oromidayo Daniel, an HND 1 Civil Engineering student and his lover, Miss Aramide Adeleke, had engaged in rounds of sx to death after they took sx enhancers to have intercourse.
It was reported that the two died at the eleventh rounds of intercourse after taking the drugs.
Both Daniel and Aramide were students of Ibadan Polytechnic.
