A Lagos business man identified as Mr Nurudeen has dragged his wife, Nimota Salami, before an Igando customary court seeking the dissolution of their marriage.
Mr Nurudeen told the court that his wife had left their matrimonial home on three occasions and had also stayed away from the family for about two months.

He further told the court that his wife spent quality time online chatting with their neighbor with whom she is having an extramarital affair.
“The last time she left the house, she didn’t return for a long time. When she eventually returned, it was to pack her belongings.
“I am fed up with her neglect of marital obligations and threats. I need peace of mind,” he said.
Responding to the allegations of absenteeism, infidelity and negligence in marriage, Nimota told the court that it was her husband that was at fault.
She further said her husband only wanted to damage her image.
“He is short tempered. He accuses me wrongly of infidelity. He has even arrested and locked me up in police cell.
“I am comfortable with the dissolution of the marriage. I am tired of being beaten, I am tired of the allegations”
Ruling, the President of the court, Mr Adeniyi Koledoye, dissolved the marriage.
He, however, ordered Mr Nurudeen to pay his estranged wife, Nimota, a severance package of 250,000 Naira.
