According to New York Post, the far-right ideologue’s daughter was instantly killed when a bomb went off that was intended to take out her father.

However, her father wasn’t in the car with her.

The Russian Philosopher, Aleksander Dugin, himself could have been the target of the explosion in place of his daughter, Daria Dugina, several reports have pointed out.

TAAS news has quoted, Andrey Krasnov, the head of the Russian Horizon social movement as saying that her father has already visited the site of the incident.

“This was the father’s vehicle. Daria was driving another car but she took his car today, while Alexander went in a different way. He returned, he was at the site of the tragedy. As far as I understand, Alexander or probably they together were the target,” TAAS news quoted Krasnov.

However, as of the filing this report, the Russian government was yet to make an official statement over the death.
