Veteran Kenyan opposition leader, Raila Amolo Odinga, has rejected the recently conducted and announced Kenyan presidential election results.
In a result announced by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission( IEBC), the 77-year-old politician narrowly lost the race to his rival, Deputy President William Ruto.
In a press conference today, Odinga accused the head of the electoral body of a “blatant disregard of the constitution” and described him as a dictator.
The Veteran opposition leader said,
“We totally without reservation reject the presidential election results,”
Odinga, who was running for the top job for the fifth time had in 2017 challenged the Victory of Uhuru Kenyatta and won.
Although, Odinga succeeded in convincing the court to nullify the victory of Kenyatta and called for a re-run, he, however, declined to participate in the re-run.
