According to the Head of the National Office of WAEC Nigeria, Mr Patrick Areghan, about 10 states out of the 36 states and the FCT which are yet to pay for their candidates’ examination fees in full would have their candidates’ results withheld until the amount is paid in full.

Areghan also stated that a total of 364, 564 candidates representing 22.83% of the total number of candidates that wrote the exam would not see their results as it’s been withheld as a result of various reported cases of exam malpractice.
