The Lagos state police command said, they have arrested two police officers who were caught on camera searching the phones of some men along Osbond way, Ikoyi, Lagos state, on the pretext of carrying out a stop and search.
Benjamin Hundeyin, who is the Lagos State P.P.R.O made this known today on his official Twitter handle.

According to him, the two police officers have been handed over to the provost for disciplinary action.
He further stated that the two police officers involved would be transferred to Force Headquarters, Abuja, for further disciplinary measures.
The video of the assault on civilians went viral last Saturday prompting their arrest.
One of the policemen involved in the assault has been identified as, Opeyemi Kadiri, with force number 509745.
