The Ogun state police command has arrested a 40-year-old Herbalist, Samson Baba Ogundele, for illegally firing a minor for less than 2 minutes.
The minor and some other girls work in a hair salon in Oja-Odan, Yewa-North Local Government Area of Ogun State.
According to reports, the sum of N1,000 went missing in the salon and they came to Baba Ogundele to check it.
The herbalist asked them to pay N700 and took them inside his inner consultation room for them to confess and the minor confessed that she was the one who stole the money.
Baba reportedly asked her what she wanted him to do to help her, and what she would give him.The minor said she did not have anything except N200 at the salon and would give it to him, but Baba refused and demanded she should allow him worship in her shrine.
According to Baba, the minor agreed and quickly removed her clothes and he fired her for less than two minutes since those who came with her were still outside waiting.
However, when the minor got out and was asked why she took so long, she started crying and told them when they got to the salon that Baba fired her.
The herbalist was arrested by the order of Kabiyesi and has confessed to firing the minor, but blamed the devil for the act.

In another development, President Muhammadu Buhari has sympatized with Benue folklore, Bongos Ikwe over the death of his wife.
Bongos Ikwe, a renowned Benue singer, ace instrumentalist, songwriter and legend lost his wife, Josephine Ifeyinwa Ikwe who died at the age of 73.
In a condolence message by the President’s spokesperson, Femi Adesina, Buhari noted the deceaseds’ commitment to the service of God and humanity while praying that the Almighty God comforts the renowned singer, his family and grant the deceased eternal rest.
